Clarity • Preparation • Resolution

Understand your loan situation
Handle collection pressure
Plan a realistic resolution path

An independent, customer-side service

SETTRIX is an independent customer-side debt resolution and guidance service. We are not a lender, bank, NBFC or collection agency. We work for the customer, explain what is realistic, and never promise outcomes we cannot control.

You are not alone

We understand how payday debt pressure builds

Many customers reach us feeling overwhelmed by multiple short-term loans, constant calls and uncertainty about what they actually owe. We start by listening.

Multiple apps and loans that are hard to track
Daily calls and messages from lenders and agents
Contact reaching references, family or the workplace
Taking new loans to close old ones
Uncertainty about what is fair and what is not
“I was scared every time my phone rang. SETTRIX helped me understand my situation and talk to lenders without fear.”

— A SETTRIX customer, anonymized

Important: if you or someone you know is in immediate emotional danger, please contact a mental-health professional or emergency services. You are not alone.
Three common situations

When Should You Contact SETTRIX?

Most customers reach us at one of three stages. Wherever you are right now, there is a sensible next step.

Early planningPayment pressureCollection pressure
Stage 1
Early planning

Planning Before the Due Date

If you already know that upcoming payments may become difficult, contacting SETTRIX before the situation escalates gives you more time to understand your options and plan your next steps.

Plan Early
Stage 2
Payment pressure

Payment Due or Re-loan Stopped

The due date is approaching or has arrived, or a re-loan that was previously available has suddenly stopped. This is often the stage where customers realize their current repayment cycle may no longer be sustainable.

Understand My Options
Stage 3
Collection pressure

Already Receiving Collection Calls

The due date has passed, collection activity has started and the pressure is increasing. Once collection pressure has started, structured communication and lender-by-lender handling can help bring the situation under control.

Collection data awareness

Understand What Information May Be Used During Collection Communication

Knowing which details are likely already on record helps you anticipate contact, set boundaries in writing and respond calmly instead of being caught off guard.

Customer

You apply for a short-term or payday loan and share the details required to process it.

Loan application information

Registered contact details, KYC and onboarding information submitted during the application.

Contact, reference and employment information

Alternate numbers, references or alternate contacts, employment-related information and employer details on record.

Collection communication

Previous communication records, plus lawful, public or third-party sources where applicable, may be used when contact is attempted.

Information collection teams may obtain or use

  • Registered contact details submitted during the loan application
  • Alternate contact numbers shared at onboarding
  • Employment-related information provided during verification
  • Employer or workplace contact details on record
  • References or alternate contacts provided during applications
  • Previous communication records with the lender or its agents
  • Information shared during loan onboarding or KYC
  • Lawful, public or third-party sources where applicable

How this helps you

When you know which details are likely already on record, you can anticipate how a collection team may try to reach you, decide in advance how you will respond, and set clear boundaries in writing. Preparation reduces surprise, and surprise is what usually causes panic.

SETTRIX does not hold any private or unauthorized database, does not access hacked or unlawfully obtained data, and cannot reveal confidential information about you or anyone else. We only help you understand, in general terms, what information may already exist on record and how to prepare for it.

Protect yourself

Never Rely on a Verbal Settlement Promise

Verbal assurances during a collection call are easy to make and hard to prove later. Documented confirmation protects you.

What a verbal offer looks like

Outstanding on record

₹40,000

Verbal offer on a call

“Pay ₹30,000 and your ₹40,000 loan will be closed.”

Nothing about that promise exists anywhere you can rely on later — no amount, no deadline, no closure terms, no reference to the account.

Written Communication Creates a Clear Record

Where a lender or authorized representative confirms settlement or closure terms in writing, the customer has a much clearer documentary record of what was communicated and agreed.

SETTRIX strongly encourages customers to obtain written confirmation before making a settlement payment based only on a verbal promise.

Get it in writing

Required documented confirmation

Before making a settlement or closure payment, request concrete written confirmation from the lender or an authorized channel clearly showing:

  • Exact settlement amount
  • Account / loan reference
  • Payment deadline
  • Payment instructions
  • Settlement / closure terms
  • Authorized confirmation from the lender's channel
  • What happens after payment
  • NOC / closure confirmation process

SETTRIX emphasizes documented communication and written confirmation rather than relying only on verbal assurances.

Know what you are paying for

Don't Pay More Simply Because You Don't Know Your Options

Customers sometimes continue paying interest, penalties, charges and repeated re-loan amounts without fully understanding what they are actually paying toward.

Interest and penalties

Charges keep accumulating while the principal barely moves.

Repeated re-loans

A new loan closes an old one and the cycle quietly grows.

No clear picture

No single view of what is owed, to whom, and against what terms.

What SETTRIX does instead

SETTRIX reviews the complete loan situation and works toward a practical lender-by-lender resolution strategy.

SETTRIX’s objective is not simply to close a loan. It is to understand what the customer is paying, why they are paying it and whether a more practical resolution can be negotiated.

In previous customer cases, structured negotiation has helped customers reach resolution amounts significantly below what they were preparing to arrange without proper guidance.

Review My Loan Situation
Lender-by-lender experience

Experience Matters When Negotiating Lender-by-Lender

SETTRIX regularly works around payday and short-term loan situations and has experience communicating with lenders regarding different customer cases.

Every lender and every case can respond differently, but previous SETTRIX cases show that informed, documented and lender-specific negotiation can materially change the resolution process.

SETTRIX does not promise a guaranteed settlement, guaranteed discount or guaranteed lender acceptance. Lenders decide based on their own policies.

Can a Difficult Case Still Be Negotiated?

Previous SETTRIX cases have included situations where customers were facing outstanding amounts far above what they could realistically arrange.

In some cases, structured lender-by-lender negotiation has resulted in settlement figures close to, and in certain cases around or below, the original amount disbursed.

These outcomes are based on previous cases and should not be understood as a guaranteed settlement figure for every customer.

Discuss a Difficult Case
Closure support

Want to Close Instead of Taking Another Re-loan?

Some customers do not want another re-loan or a long settlement process. They simply want to close the loan at the most practical amount available to them.

SETTRIX can assist with lender communication, understanding available closure/discount options, negotiating where possible and obtaining documented closure terms.

Lender communication

Structured, documented contact with the lender or authorized channel.

Closure / discount options

Understanding which closure routes may realistically be available.

Negotiation where possible

Case-specific negotiation support where you authorize it in writing.

Documented closure terms

Written terms, payment proof and the final NOC / closure confirmation.

Keep the paperwork on your side

  • Written confirmation of the discounted closure amount
  • Payment proof retained for your own records
  • Final NOC / closure confirmation from the lender

Credit-bureau reporting depends on the lender’s reporting and the applicable account status. SETTRIX does not control how a lender reports an account.

The difference in practice

What Changes When SETTRIX Gets Involved?

Based on the experience of previous SETTRIX customers, collection follow-ups have often reduced substantially once individual lenders were contacted, the customer's situation was properly explained and a structured resolution approach was put in place.

Lender-by-lender handling

SETTRIX works lender-by-lender rather than treating every loan situation as the same. Each lender is reviewed, prioritised and approached on its own terms.

Structured, documented communication

Conversations move from unplanned phone calls into prepared, written communication, so your position is stated once and stays consistent.

Pressure becomes process

For many customers, the biggest immediate difference is moving from repeated collection pressure toward a more structured repayment or resolution process.

In several previous cases, collection follow-ups were significantly reduced and the overall situation was brought under control once communication became structured and each lender was engaged individually.
